Biography

Born on August 27, 1999, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Elijah Seung-Jo Park is the eldest child of Korean-American parents whose families immigrated to the United States in pursuit of new opportunities and a better future. Raised in a close-knit family that valued hard work, education, and community, Elijah grew up surrounded by both Korean traditions and American culture.His family built a successful restaurant empire consisting of five Korean restaurants located in Fort Lauderdale, Miami Beach, Orlando, Myrtle Beach, and Fort Myers. Each location is managed by a member of the Park family, making the business a source of pride and a symbol of their shared dedication. Despite being expected by many to eventually join the family business, Elijah knew from an early age that his passion lay elsewhere.Alongside his younger sister, Evelyn Soo-Min Park, Elijah spent much of his childhood sketching buildings, exploring local landmarks, and developing a fascination with architecture and design. After a few arguments, he was later encouraged by his family to pursue his ambitions of becoming an Architect, he earned a scholarship to the prestigious Pratt Institute in New York City, where he studied architecture.Through years of hard work and determination, Elijah completed both his undergraduate and graduate studies, earning his Master of Architecture (M.Arch) degree at the age of twenty-five. His academic achievements allowed him to establish himself as a promising young architect while staying true to the dreams he had nurtured since childhood.

Today, Elijah resides alone in Brooklyn, New York, where he works as an architect and continues to pursue his lifelong passion for design. While much of his time is spent developing projects, reviewing plans, and collaborating with clients, he is rarely content staying in one place for too long. Outside of work, Elijah is an avid traveler who frequently visits family in both Florida and South Korea, maintaining close ties to the people and traditions that shaped him.His travels often take him far beyond familiar destinations. Whether wandering the narrow streets of centuries-old European cities, exploring ancient temples in Asia, or documenting forgotten landmarks tucked away in small towns, Elijah is constantly searching for stories hidden within architecture. Armed with a camera, sketchbook, and an endless sense of curiosity, he photographs, sketches, and studies historical structures, believing that every building carries a piece of the people who built it and the generations who lived within its walls.When he isn't traveling, Elijah can often be found in local cafés sketching ideas, visiting museums, attending architectural exhibitions, or spending hours walking through neighborhoods simply to admire their character and design. Despite his professional success, he remains remarkably down-to-earth, preferring meaningful conversations and quiet moments with loved ones over lavish attention or recognition.Known for his warm personality, unwavering optimism, and genuine kindness, Elijah has a natural ability to make others feel welcome. Friends often describe him as dependable, compassionate, and impossible not to like. He believes that everyone has a story worth listening to and that kindness is one of the most important things a person can offer the world.
